Made from various materials—from metal to eco-friendly acetate—they ensure durability, practicality, and a refined appearance, adapting to multiple sectors, from fashion to packaging.
Tips
Metal Tip
Le ns. Strings and ribbons can be supplied in pieces with metal tips at the ends. Unlike other types, the edges of the tips are rounded, allowing for safe handling and assembly.
Lace Tip
Eco-friendly acetate tip. For footwear laces or any other application where there is a need to thread our products.

Ribbons with a height of 10 mm can be supplied with a flat bar terminal, allowing the creation of a handle for boxes, particularly for the confectionery sector.
Cuts
Cutting is a fundamental stage in the finishing of strings, laces, and ribbons, influencing both their aesthetics and functionality. Thanks to specialized techniques such as angled or hot cutting, it is possible to achieve precise, sealed, and fray-resistant ends, speeding up assembly and ensuring a consistently neat, high-quality result.
Angled Cut
Allavelli Michele S.r.l. has developed a special technology that allows the ends of braids to be fixed at an angled cut, making assembly easier. The result is a sealed and clean end, with an angled cut that facilitates assembly.
Hot Cut
Strings, PES ribbons, and waxed laces can be hot cut. Thanks to this technique, the ends are perfectly sealed.

Ribbons can be hot cut with an angled inclination that enhances their elegance.
Custom print
Our custom ribbons offer endless possibilities: 1- or 2-color printing, sublimation, full-color, offset printing, and Pantone® colors for a truly unique result.
Waxing
A waxing treatment can be applied to all our cotton laces to make them glossier.
